we had a fantastic time exploring the nearby Curecanti National Recreation Area, just under 5 km away, and enjoyed leisurely strolls in the beautiful Gunnison City Park, around 40 km from our hotel, making our family getaway memorable.

Staying in the two-bedroom cottage provided plenty of space for my family. The location is picturesque, with stunning views that make you forget the outside world.
The beds were incredibly small—two adults struggled to sleep side by side comfortably. There’s no A/C, despite what was advertised, which made the heat pretty unbearable at times. The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. the carpet and beds had visible stains, and the bathroom floor was covered in hair. To top it off, we were not properly informed that linens were not included, forcing us to make a last-minute trip to Walmart for towels and blankets. For nearly $800 over three nights, I expected much better.
